Returns & Care — Soft Archive

Soft Archive is a slow fashion house.

We ask that you choose carefully.

Each piece is made with intention — many are produced to order. 

We ask you to choose with care. 

Made-to-Order & Final Sale Items marked as made-to-order or produced in limited runs are final sale. We do not accept returns or exchanges on these pieces unless they arrive damaged or defective.

Ready Stock Returns For ready-stock items, we accept return requests within 7 days of delivery. Items must be unworn, unwashed, and in original condition with all tags attached. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty.

Exchanges We do not offer direct exchanges. If you wish to exchange a size or style, please return your item (if eligible) and place a new order.

Refund Processing Approved refunds are processed within 7–10 business days to your original payment method. Shipping fees are non-refundable.

Returns & Exchanges We accept exchange requests within 14 days of delivery for unworn, unwashed items in original condition. As each piece is produced individually, we are unable to offer refunds on made-to-order items except in the case of a manufacturing defect.

Damaged or Defective Items If your piece arrives with a defect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos. We will remake or repair at no cost.

Care by Material

  • Natural Hemp Blend — Hand wash cold or machine wash gentle. Lay flat to dry. Do not bleach. Softens with wear and washing.
  • Silk Blend / Xiangyunsha — Dry clean recommended. If hand washing, use cold water and a gentle silk detergent. Do not wring. Store away from direct light.
  • Silk & Cotton Gauze — Hand wash cold. Lay flat to dry. Iron on low with a pressing cloth.

As all Soft Archive pieces are made to order and individually personalized, they are exempt from the EU right of withdrawal under Article 16(c) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive. This exemption applies to goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalized.
