We choose fabrics for touch, breathability, drape, durability, and the way they age with use.
Our materials may include hemp, ramie, linen, cotton, silk, Tencel, plant-dyed textiles, local handwoven fabrics, and other natural or natural-derived fibers.
We are interested in fabrics that feel close to the body and connected to the earth.
Hemp
Hemp is breathable, durable, and naturally textured.
It often begins with a slightly raw hand feel and becomes softer with wear.
We use hemp because it carries both structure and ease — it can hold shape, but still feel relaxed on the body.
Linen
Linen is light, breathable, and naturally wrinkled.
We do not treat wrinkles as a problem. They are part of linen’s living texture.
A linen piece looks better when it is allowed to move, fold, and age naturally.
Ramie
Ramie has a crisp, dry hand feel and a quiet natural sheen.
It is often used in traditional textiles and carries a sense of clarity and structure.
We like ramie for pieces that need lightness, breathability, and a more defined shape.
Tencel / Lyocell
Tencel gives softness, fluidity, and a smoother drape.
When blended with natural fibers such as linen or hemp, it can make the fabric feel softer against the skin while still keeping an earthy structure.
Natural Variation
